What Scares President Obama the Most?

Scientists and politicians discuss the impact of climate change and what the consequences are most likely to be in Leonardo DiCaprio's newest documentary, Before the Flood. It follows DiCaprio's journey around the world as part of his work for the UN as a Messenger of Peace.

Of particular note is President Obama's response to a question on what scares him the most. He noted that half the world's population lives near an ocean and that as sea levels rise a mass migration will be forced to take place. This will lead to the largest security issue in global history as climate refugees move to new places and require new resources.

This mass migration of future climate refugees involving potentially billions of people has gotten far less attention than it deserves given that the Syrian refugee crisis involves "only" 5.8 million people moving across borders to date.
